Fun & Creativity

Art

Art is an important tool of learning for children at all ages. During art time, kids learn to express their ideas and imagination. At Bumble Bee Academy, we provide children with many different materials appropriate to their ages and abilities. We encourage them to be creative through using their imaginations. While utilizing art tools (such as paper punches, clay, and crayons), children can work on their find motor skills. Through using different types of materials, they demonstrate an understanding of certain concepts, such as hard and softbig and small. Art helps children to express their feelings, ideas, and solve problems that they may not be able to verbally express.

Music & Movement

Music, which is usually associated with movement, is an important part in childcare curriculum. At Bumble Bee Academy, we encourage children to sing and dance. This combination of music and movement helps our kids both physically and emotionally. Exposing children to music during early development also stimulates kids to learn sounds and meanings of words. Dancing to music helps children build their large motor skills, as well as allowing them to practice self-expression.

Language

Child development requires learning language and communication skills. At Bumble Bee Academy, we provide such age-appropriate skills tot enable children to engage with others and learn from their surroundings, as well as in the classroom. We read books, sing songs, learn our alphabets, and communicate throughout the day.

Outside Play

AT our academy, we go outdoor every day to play and enjoy nature. Such activities promote creativity and imagination, build confidence, teach sense of responsibility, and encourage physical activity.

Outdoor play also promotes problem-solving skills in children. With the introduction of unstructured play outside, children are able to explore their surroundings more freely.

While playing outdoors, children also acquire skills of endurance by developing strong muscles and bones. They can maintain good sleeping patterns, flexibility, balance, and develop better social skills.
